Basics of Weaving

Children can learn the basics of weaving. We will be using sticks, grapevine, or stick frames to make simple weavings or dream catchers. Use recycled materials like scrap fabrics, ribbons, and yarn. You can weave with found objects like bark and grass. There will be buttons, beads, paint and glitter to play with as well. Learn about nature and recycling Learn about crafting with found objects. Have fun making things! Have a fun project they can take home with them to keep! Materials will be provided. If your child does enjoy nature walks and finds things they want to weave with--they can bring them to use.
